Siem Reap court decides to freeze 183 bank accounts in the case of Brilliant City World Group

 

A spokesman for the Siem Reap provincial court announced in connection with the case of Brilliant City World Group that the court had decided to freeze 183 bank accounts and investigate more people involved with the case.

According to the Press Release from the spokesman for the Siem Reap provincial court issued on April 17, 2024 stated that Siem Reap provincial court has carried out a number of procedures, including freezing 183 bank accounts and some assets,detained 5 offenders, issued arrest warrants for 2 more suspects and ordered another 24 defendants to appear the court from 18 April to May 17, 2024.

“Issued an order to investigate instead, ordering the search of the property and national background of other stake holders and proceed with legal proceedings,” said the press release.

The spokesman of Siem Reap provincial court would like to confirm that the Siem Reap provincial court has been taking action and continuing to handle the case related to Leng Channa’s Brilliant City World Group with high attention, accuracy, transparency and fairness by implementation to the laws and procedures in force.

The case is being investigated by a number of individuals involved, and the number of victims is also large, requiring a reasonable amount of time to investigate to find out the truth in resolving the plaintiffs’ victims by legal procedure.

“Please, every people, the public and the media should cooperate in all aspects to maintain security and good order for the Siem Reap provincial court to continue to handle this case effectively and provide justice to all parties involved in the future,” the press release underlined.
